DANCE SOCIALS

Montreal’s dance scene is all about movement, connection and energy — and that’s exactly what I aim to capture.

Every month, I photograph dance socials across Montreal, collaborating with different DJs, organizers and events within the Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Tarraxo, Semba, Kompa and Latin dance communities.

My approach is candid and spontaneous: the connection between two dancers, the energy of the crowd, a DJ behind the booth, the details, the smiles and those split-second moments that define a night. No posing. No interrupting the dance floor. Just real people, real movement and real moments.

 

Whether it’s an intimate social or a packed dance floor, my goal is to create images that make you feel the night all over again.
